- Mozilla Thunderbird
- Mozilla Thunderbird is an excellent Open Source e-mail client. It includes Junk Mail blocking, very customizable mail rules, and supports multiple e-mail accounts. It also has the ability to use themes and extensions, and has built-in RSS support.
- Microsoft Outlook
- Microsoft Outlook is included with Microsoft Office and cannot be installed separately.
- Windows Mail
- Windows mail was present only in Windows Vista and cannot be installed separately. This program is not present in Windows 7.
