Knee

According to printed statistics knee problems and headaches are the most common reasons people consult a doctor. The knee is at very high risk because it bears all of the body weight on each knee joint with each step. In other words, we walk on one foot at a time which funnels all of the person's weight into that knee.

Knee joint mal-alignment is therefore a very common problem which leads to pain, arthritis, and disability. Injuries from sports, work, falls, and etc. also contribute to alignment problems in the knee joint. As with other joints, the knee responds to manual manipulative adjustments by a chiropractor. Good case management usually also includes foot and arch stabilization using custom made orthotics which help balance weight
bearing into the knee joint.

If you suspect a knee joint problem please print
this page and bring it to our office for a complimentary knee joint examination and evaluation.
We will also be happy to provide a complimentary evaluation of your postural weight bearing status as it relates to your feet in case there is a relationship with your knee problem.
