Although Dorothy lived for many years in the midwest, you can see that her artistic heart is in the southwest. She grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah and now lives in Cedar City, Utah but also has resided in MA, AZ, ND, IL, and NM. The works sampled below date from the present back to the early 1960's, before most of us were born. The oil painting "Vase and Citris Fruit" is already an antique. The images below are in reduced form for quick loading with a web browser. They are all copyrighted by Dorothy M. Uherka. (The museum picture, above left, is of course the famous Guggenheim Museum in New York, website http://www.guggenheim.org/new_york_index.shtml , which we should all visit someday.)
