Forest Gnome spotlights one commercial pet store or pet site every month. If you know of a store or site that you feel we should spotlight, send the particulars to us at spotlight@forestgnome.com and we will contact the owner.
This month we are proud to announce that DUSTY'S DEN in Sonora, Cal. is our GNOME OF THE MONTH. Dusty's Den not only is a superior pet shop, but what they do 'behind' the scene is the reason we chose them for this month. Dusty's Den supplies all food to the Tuolumne Humane Society to feed the dogs and cats that they house. All for FREE! If you happen to be in the area, stop in and meet George and Deborah Hart, who also supply Jake, the Sonora Police Dept.'s K-9 with all of his chow in appreciation for his service to the community.
These wonderful people have also offered cages for avian rescues at a discount. Our hats are off to DUSTY'S DEN (Dusty is George & Deborah's Golden Retriever) "A shop for pets and the people who love them". Thank you for your outstanding contribution to the community!
