Carl Franklin has more than twenty-five years experience at all levels of the criminal justice system He holds the Juris Doctor degree and is currently completing the Ph.D. in Business Administration with an emphasis in Criminal Justice Administration.
The author of more than five text and reference books, Carl is an active researcher in the areas of police action, civil liability, disaster management and recovery, as well as leadership in the public sector.
His books include The Police Officer's Guide to Civil Liability and Constitutional Law for the Criminal Justice Professional. Both books are soon to be released in a second edition. His latest book, The Investigator's Guide to Computer Crime will be released by summer of 2004, and Carl has recently submitted a new text to Wadsworth.
