Misc. Resources -- Retail Sites -- Motorcycle HumorMotorcycle Destinations, Trips, and Planning Sites
Beach's Motorcycle Adventures -- European oriented motorcycle adventure touring company.
California Motorcycle Roads -- This is a VERY GOOD site for basic information on riding the various roads in California. It appears to be written mostly by the site owner or those who have contributed from their own rides. Mostly in a "forum" type environment where folks post information about their rides. Usually includes good maps and lots of photos.
Doc's Touring Pitstop -- An Internet 'pit stop' for motorcycle touring & camping folks. Includes a decent set of links to motorcycle tour and camping groups.
Motorcycle Camping Information Page -- Includes tips and resources for motorcycle camping and touring.
MotorcycleRoads.US -- A comprehensive listing with description of select roads throughout the US. All entries are by "riders" and submitted to the site by the individual. This means that some descriptions are much better than others, but overall this is a good place to find some decent local roads to ride. A lot of the information is also taken from other sites, so it's a bit hit and miss on what you'll get.
Moto Tour -- A site dedicated to the art of motorcycle touring for both street and dual sport riders.
Motorcycle Touring For Beginners -- Online essay on touring by motorcyle. Practical advise along with some good old fashioned common sense.
Places 2 Ride -- Focuses on destination rather than a particular road or road type. Includes information on gear, events and related topics. Not just for street bikes, either. Has some good ATV and off road information as well.
Sportbike Roads -- Sponsored by All American Sportbike, this page is another listing of various roads throughout the US. Like other sites, this spot relies on contributors to get entries and descriptions.
Motorcycle Events
MotorcycleEvents.com -- Includes a searchable calendar system which allows you to search by name, city, state, country, event date, and just browse. Leans toward Harley related events, but does include events that have appeal to all riders. LOTS of advertisements, but no pop-ups at this point. Also provides a print magazine, email notification, and wall calendar.
Lightning Customs Biker Rallies Page -- Focuses on Harley events and "adult" rallies.
Let's Ride -- "It doesn't matter if you ride Harley-Davidson, Honda, Yamaha or even a Vespa, we have motorcycle events for you!" And they actually do have a pretty good list of different types of events. They have a world map that you use to pick an event almost anywhere. You can also search by date and description. In the US you can pick by state as well.
The LockIt Company's Links -- Manufacturer of lock and security devices hosts a motorcycle events calendar.
Sturgis Rally Information Center -- Basic link to the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally.
Motorcycle Publications (Includes online only and online/print combo)
2wf.com - 2 Wheel Freek - The home of American Roadracing -- As the name suggests, this magazine is for people who are really into roadracing their bikes.
Backroads Motorcycle Tour magazine -- I've not actually seen this magazine, but the first page on the website says that it is "available in select shops from Virginia to the Canadian border." I'm guessing that it focuses on the eastern part of the US, so if anyone has better information let me know.
Biker Ally Magazine - motorcycle magazine geared towards women.
Bikesters -- A site devoted to "restoring old dragsters" and similar topics. Copyright is 1995, and I'm guessing this site may not have been updated since then. Does have some interesting technical information, though.
Canadian Biker Online -- Welcome to Canadian Biker Online - a service of Canadian Biker Magazine. This site showcases our magazine and allows you to access selected articles and archives from our print magazine.
Cycle News - America's weekly motorcycle magazine -- Focuses on race and related bikes and information.

Motorcycle Consumer News - consumer reporting for the motorcycle enthusiast, including model and product reviews, safety articles, and a used bike value guide.
Motorcycle City On Line Magazine -- Not 100% sure whether this is just an eclectic mix on the web or if this is a real online magazine. LOTS of stuff, but not really organized very well. Good place to waste a little time, though.
Motorcycle Industry Magazine - news for both industry and the consumer/rider. With classifieds, product previews, news articles, industry links, and more.
Motorcycle Product News - business magazine for the powersports industry.
Motorcycle Shopper On-line - read and place classified ads, read motorcycling news, download databases, visit the vendor section, and more.
MotorWorld Online -- A small online magazine that includes all types of bikes and articles. May be a bit out of date, though, since most of the entries are still from 2004.
Off-Road.com's Dirt Bike Page -- The name pretty much says it all.

Southwest Bike - motorcycle travel magazine with information on touring, maps, clubs, services and more.

Virginia Wind - magazine on travel and motorcycling in Virginia.
Woman Motorist - Motorcycle, automotive and motorsports magazine for women.
Miscellaneous Motorcycle Resources
Adventure Motorbiking Website -- Chris Scott, a UK based "adventure biker" rides all over the world and seems to make his money by selling books and DVDs of his adventurers. This is a commercial site for those products. If you're into adventure biking (not only getting off the super slabs but off the road altogether) then take a look at this site.
All-Offroad Dirt Bikes - Dual Sport -- Information for Off-Road enthusiasts (primarily dirt bike riders), such as places to ride, product reviews, tech-tips, Crash and Burn, Photos, and more.
American Motorcycle Network -- Decent site with information on new releases, events, products, and related information. More than 1900 stories online with a searchable database.
BikerFriendlyUSA.com -- Devoted to listing businesses that "biker friendly." Unfortunately, it doesn't really list what the criteria is for determining when a business is biker friendly. Based on what I've seen it's more about adding the business you think and there's no verification system in place. Not suggesting these places aren't biker friendly, but if biker friendly is just a willingness to server or sell to bikers then most places are probably biker friendly. I'd like to see more on why the business is biker friendly (gives a discount, special services, etc.) and how they've determined that it is biker friendly.
British Motor Racing Circuits Homepage -- The name pretty much says it all.
BikeNet -- UK bike equipment and accessories supplier.
Built For Speed -- A super speed shop for bikes, cars, and lots of speedy babes! You need an "free account" to access most of the interesting stuff.
Cycle Fish -- A decent collection of motorcycle related topics including state laws, rider training, tech tips, travel, and lots of other stuff.
Doc's Motorcycle Touring Pit Stop -- Not sure who "Doc" is, but this site has some decent information about motorcycle touring and riding. May be a bit out of date, though. Still, some of the information is worth a look.
Honda Valkyrie Motorcycle Links, Terminal Valkocity -- dedicated to the Valkyrie and those who ride her.
Honda GoldWings.com -- Parts and Accessories page.
MotoSites Directory -- Extensive listing of online motorcycle sites.
MotoCentral -- News and Industry reports.

NC Motorcyclists -- Focused on North Carolina riders, but has information for just about anyone coming to NC.
Rat Bike Museum -- Just a fun little site devoted to RAT Bikes.
Rat Bike Zone -- Another site devoted to the Rat Bike phenom.
Motorcycle Retail and Outlet Shops
Chilhowee Leather Gear for Motorcycles -- I use Chilhowee bags on my VTX and strongly recommend them to anyone who asks. I like the workmanship, and Chil (the owner and a Native American craftsman) is very easy to deal with.
Leather Up -- Decent motorcycle leather gear and accessories.
Motorcycle.com -- includes searchable databases, multimedia archives, race news, and reports on everything related to motorsports. Subscription required for most new, original content.
Motorcycle Humor -- CAUTION: What might be funny to some is simply offensive to others. I have note rated, endorsed, or even looked at many of these sites. They were sent to me by other bikers and I'm posting them for your use or non-use. Your choice.
Humor on Cycle Fish -- A collection of different jokes and humorous stories.
