National Detoxification Institute

The mission of NDI is to provide real answers and solutions to people of all ages who are being slowly poisoned by our toxic world. To achieve this, NDI conducts through patient exposure histories and evaluations, physical examinations, and administers our therapeutic and educational services by highly trained and licensed doctors who are professionally trained and specialize in nutritional, physiologic and holistic medicines. All operations are overseen by Dr. Michael K. Hobson, the developer of NDI programs since 1986.

Our detoxification programs usually run 14 to 45 days, depending upon individual need, consisting of daily monitoring, personal consultations and treatments. During their stay, clients are trained and educated to personally manage their own future detoxification needs after leaving NDI. This is quite different from our competitors, and only one of the many features which makes our program unique, and positions our approach to this world wide epidemic, at the forefront of providing this vital service to the masses who truly need it.

Toxic body burdens, which all people have accumulating in the fat tissues of their bodies, slowly poison vital body systems. As this damage occurs, immune systems weaken, neurological tissues are damaged and symptoms begin, and reproductive and hormonal dysfunction occurs. Numerous symptoms subtlety begin such as recurrent headaches, allergies, loss of energy, recurring flu like symptoms, general muscle and joint aches, irritability, skin disorders, lack of mental acuity and confusion. These symptoms are often misdiagnosed as chronic fatigue, Candida, psychosomatic illness, fibromyalgia, thyroid or adrenal dysfunction by well meaning but misinformed practitioners.

Therapeutic Services -

Our detoxification programs are tailored to fit the clients individual needs and capacities. They are designed in such a way that they can be done very effectively at home once the client is trained in their personal application. These modalities include daily detox cycles, done one to several times per day which include specific exercises, heat treatments, and highly specialized nutrients and several spinal manipulation therapies per week, all designed to mobilize and excrete toxic bioaccumulants. Our programs are developed for all age groups. During our clients stay, additional non-essential therapies may be utilized depending on personal preference to make our clients stay more enjoyable.

Detox Cycle Basics

Rebounding - This replaces jogging as used in other programs, it provides greater mobilization effects on lipophillic toxins, (man made poisons which accumulate and store in our body fats) as well as improved lymphatic and blood circulation due to the increased positive and negative "G" forces involved. This method of toxin mobilization also places less biomechanical force of impact on ankle, knees, and lower back than other methods.

Heat treatments - our program utilizes a detox bath done in the privacy of your home. This method rapidly elevates body core temperature eliciting a perspiration response. Highly specialized compounds are added to the bath water which facilitates dermal detoxification and introduces healing agents via the dermas.

Nutrients - NDI treatment program offers the expertise of nutritional medicines which allows our approach to be unlike any other. Our treatments capture and eliminate toxic accumulates from the GI tract using a specialized European Moor compound which is a 100% bio-active all natural substance. This nutrient not only binds toxins from the GI tract for elimination, but it also greatly improves absorption of other nutrients. It also balances the pH of the GI tract and restores a normal intestinal flora through a combination of numerous naturally occurring healing herbs in homeopathic dilution. This compound also lower cholesterol.

Very powerful antioxidants are used during detoxification to combat the damaging, oxidative stresses caused by detoxification. Other nutrients such as niacin and specific minerals are used as well to promote detoxification and healing, providing the body what it needs during this process.

The various modalities used by NDI, are supported by an impressive body of research demonstrating its clinical necessity and effectiveness. Awareness of our toxic environment and how it is affecting all people, causing severe illness and premature death is one of the major goals of NDI. To teach not only our clients, but our communities at large, of the real threat a toxic world imposes on us. And how it destroys our life force and slowly robs us of our vitality and good health. That unsuccessful treatments of misdiagnosed illness can be treated successfully in many cases.

Detoxification - The word detoxification will mean different things to different people. Herbalists, and nutritionists may think that detoxification consists of using various nutritional cleansers of the blood or intestinal tract. Medical doctors may think of drug or alcohol abuse and detoxifying centers. Some nutritionists may consider detoxifying as fasting with certain nutritional aids. However, the type of clinical detoxifying methodologies that NDI uses is very different from all of these methods, which do nothing for removing lipophillic toxic body burdens. It is also unique and quite different from the Hubbard method both in modalities and in its simplicity and affordability.
