Dr. Michael K Hobson is a 1984 graduate of Texas Chiropractic College of Pasadena, Texas, and currently maintains a private practice in St. George, Utah. He is the founder and director of the National Detoxification Institute also located in Southern Utah. The institute serves to educate and support its charter members nationwide. Dr. Hobson has appeared on both radio and television talk shows and has a number of his articles published nationally and internationally in various professional journals and health magazines. He currently directs operations at the National Detoxification Institute, which also serves as a clinical spa for clients worldwide.

Spa clients come and stay in St. George from one to six weeks. There they go through the clinical detoxification and weight loss program. Dr. Hobson also is involved in periodically producing his own seminars to educate his colleagues about what he believes is a national epidemic, "bioaccumulation". Since 1986 Dr. Hobson has been doing clinical research in the field of reducing fat soluble human toxic body burdens. This research has lead to the development of a successful treatment protocol for reducing "bioaccumulations", also an innovative weight loss program which blends ideally with his detox program. Established clinicians in the field of reducing toxic body burdens, nationally and internationally, are enthusiastically soliciting Dr. Hobson's innovative treatment methods. Both his detox and associated weight loss programs are taught at his seminars nationwide. Dr. Hobson also periodically accepts speaking invitations, and has lectured before many groups and thousands of people concerning the toxic bioaccumulation epidemic.
