Three state parks in Color Country are perfect for fishing, camping, boating, water sports, or just relaxing on the shore.

Gunlock State Park is located fifteen miles northwest of St. George along the route of the Old Spanish Trail. The 240-acre Gunlock Reservoir offers year-round water sports, boating and quality fishing for bass and catfish. Facilities are limited.

Quail Creek State Park provides excellent year-round camping, picnicking, boating and rainbow trout and bass fishing. The park is located three miles east of the Interstate-15 Hurricane exit on Scenic Byway 9. Facilities include 23 campsites and modern rest rooms.

Minersville State Park is a popular getaway for anglers, boaters, and campers. The 1,130-acre Minersville Reservoir is the featured attraction. The park has 29 campsites, modern rest rooms and hot showers. It is located 12 miles west of Beaver off Hwy 21.
