Utah's Color Country Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park

Coral Pink Sand Dunes is the perfect name for this state park, located eleven miles off US 89 near Kanab. Open all year, the park is a wide-sweeping expanse of coral-colored sand, drifted into dunes just begging to be climbed by foot or by off-road vehicles. You can hike, take photos, camp, ride dune buggies, or just relax and play in the sand.

For the off-highway vehicle enthusiast, there are 1,000 acres of play area, hundreds of miles of trails, plus there are several developed four-wheel roads on BLM land adjacent to the park.

The park has a ranger station, a 22-unit pull-through campground with rest rooms and hot showers. Reservations for campsites are not required but are advised. To make a reservation call 1-800-322-3770.
