Attention: You have probably arrived at this page because your
body is in desperate need of rejuvenation.
As Editor of The Gentle Survivalist and a
"Downwinder," I received massive
amounts of radiation from government
testing of the atomic bomb in southern Nevada. As a youngster, I lived in southern
Utah and nothern Arizona where the radiation clouds settled mostly on LDS and Native
communities. I was told you could write your name in the pink dust that settled on the cars.
Many sheep in the hills died and had lesions. My father knew the janitor of my school who wore a body
monitoring badge given to him by the government. Yes, we were being tested like poor animals
in scientific research centers. When I was 12 my thyroid was removed surgically, as well as
many Native children I went to school with. Here in St. George at last 10 to a block died of
leukemia due to wildly growing precancerous nodules.
In July, 2000, I was admitted to the hospital because I could not
breathe. I was diagnosed with a lung infection and after a biopsy and
cat scan, terminal 4th stage cancer. It started as breast cancer and then spread
to the bones. I lost over 100 pounds and all my energy.
I could not even open my own vitamin bottles. I could not walk and was
on six liters of oxygen, unable to breathe on my own. I could not get to
the bathroom and had to use a bedpan for months. No radiation or chemotherapy
was offered and I was sent home in the care of hospice to die. The Doctors had given
me three weeks to live and I was
given Tamoxifen (made by a pesticide company)to block estrogen and unlimited amounts
of morphine syrup to
block the pain. I chose not to use the latter. The house was full of
medical equipment- hospital bed, oxygen machines, wheel chair, and walker.
Throughout this experience, I requested and received blessings at the
hands of my church missionaries and leaders,(The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints)
and also learned that I must do my part on the physical and mental plane.
It has been a struggle, but well worth it. I will always be thankful for
the many prayers that were offered for me by friends and relatives of all
faiths and religions and the service given by my sons and those who
expected nothing in return. It has been three years since my diagnosis and
in that time I have had two major implant operations to stabilize my bones. I
have been urged by friends to write and share my experience.
First, I must say that I believe we all have missions here on earth
and that mine has not been completed yet. I believe that our Heavenly
Father does hear our prayers and that faith in Him and His Son has
given me the opportunity to live and regain my health. Faith is a gift
from God and it is free to all who ask. I could no more charge for this
information than hold my breath 'til I passed out.
In my study for a health regimen to restore my health, I read many
theories and strict diets that promised healing, but all had flaws.
I selectively chose the parts that appeared to follow correct principles,
combined or refined and applied them to my particular needs. If I were to
publish a cancer cure, it would be useless, as everybody (every BODY) is
different and the causes and cures would be as individual as the stars in
the heavens. What is important is that we exert enough faith to ask our
Father in Heaven to guide us in knowing what to do and which remedies apply
to us individually. It is of paramount import that we study all possible
options and research the latest immune studies so we can mentally form
relevant questions and options to lay before our Creator. If we do our
homework and it is His will that we continue on this earthly plane, He
will give us further light to progress towards recovery.
I have ideas that helped me and am willing to
share with others if they are interested. If you would like to have the cancer
prevention ideas and recipes I have gleaned from many sources and used
to help regain my strength, please e-mail me at gentle_survivalist@yahoo.com
This may seem a little less than a miracle cure, but we first need to
have all the information currently available in order to make a personalized
plan to regain our health and fulfill our earthly missions.

Ed. Note: We all have different beliefs, but as Gentle
Survivalists, we know that our love for the Creator and
each other transcend our differences. We are here on
this earth to share, appreciate and learn from our
differences. Our beliefs and knowledge do not make
us better than our neighbor, but how we act upon those
beliefs. If our beliefs make us kinder, more patient and
loving, others can see the fruit of our beliefs. If we tell
folks they are going to hell because they do not believe
as we, our fruit is obviously rotten and the tree from
which it came is diseased. God loves all His children
and will lead them along, imparting knowledge and
wisdom as they become able to receive it. If the Creator
gives us knowledge and truth and we fail to embrace it with
our entire being, why should He be expected toimpart further
light and knowledge?
