Brigham Young University

The Springville Museum of Art is Utah's oldest and most beautiful museum for the visual fine arts. Designed by Claud S. Ashworth, this Spanish Colonial Revival style building was completed in 1937 as an art museum. It was dedicated by Apostle David O. McKay to be a "sanctuary of beauty and a temple of meditation."
Egyptian Theater
Constructed in 1926, the theater now serves as Park City's community theater and is the scene for musicals, dramas, and comedies. Please call for performance information. 328 Main Street, Park City, (801)649-9371.

Earth Science Museum
Take a step back in time at the now Earth Science Museum located on the B.Y.U. campus. Dinosaurs, iceage mammals and ancient forms of sea life are among the numerous displays housed at the complex. Historical Building Tours
The history of the outlaws, mining, pioneers, and Native Americans is a fantastic story. John Hutchings Museum
of Natural History
A storehouse of Native American and pioneer artifacts, fossils, birds, and wildlife of the West plus an excellent collection of minerals. 685 North Center Street, Lehi, (801)768-7180.
Kimball Art Center
Park City is home to one of the finest art centers in the West. The center features a Main Gallery, gift shop, and facilities for arts and craft work. 638 Park Avenue, Park City, (801)649-8882.
McCurdy Doll Museum
An award-winning doll museum with over 3,000 dolls, miniature rooms, and toys. The museum features a doll shop with children's books and toys, and a doll repair facility. 246 North 100 East, Provo, (801)377-9935.
Monte L. Bean
Life Science Museum
On the BYU campus next to the Marriott Center, the museum boasts a large collection of trophy animals and striking displays of animal habitats. Other museums on campus include Earth Science, Fine Arts, and People and Cultures. Provo, (801)378-5051
Park City Museum
The museum houses displays of the town's mining history, skiing, and the historical Utah Territorial Jail. The museum also serves as the town's visitor information center. 528 Main Street, Park City, (801)649-6104.
Pioneer Memorial Museum
The museum is a replica of an early Utah pioneer cabin furnished with authentic pioneer furniture. 500 West 600 North, Provo, (801)379-6609.
Utah Winter Sports Park
A key element in the development of Utah's Olympic infrstructure, the park features four ski jumps, a summer and winter freestyle aerial jump and a half-pipe for snowboarding. Future developments for the park include a bobsled/luge ren and a cross-country trail system. Park City, (801)649-5447.
Provo LDS Temple
On a hillside above BYU's campus, this architecturally striking building faced with white cast stone and topped with a segmented spire. Completed on 1972, visitors are welcome to tour the beautifully landscaped grounds. Provo, (801)375-5775.
Springville Museum of Art
The museum houses an extensive collection of work by Utah artists and is especially noted for its month-long National Art Exhibition in April. 126 East 400 South, Springville, (801)489-2727.
Wasatch Stake Tabernacle
Built in Heber in the 1880's as a meeting hall for the Mormon Church, the architectural character of the building has been preserved while converting it to municipal offices and historical museum displays. Heber, (801)654-3666.
