Blog is short for Weblog. A blog is a webpage that is easily able to be updated by the person who runs the webpages. Most blogs take the form of a daily journal of events in a person's life. Some blogs, however, are considered alternate news sources from traditional media, and a number of news organizations now have their correspondents and reporters blogging.
