Santa in September - Help the local Care and Share

From InfoWest Vice President Randy Cosby...

The local Care and Share needs Santa to come early this year. You can help!

A little background ... I have served on the all-volunteer board of trustees for Dixie Care and Share for the last 3 1/2 years and was elected as Chairman for 2007. In this position, I have been privileged to work with the staff, volunteers and local church, business and civic leaders who help keep Dixie Care and Share afloat - often on less than a shoestring. The situation has now become urgent. The incoming funds are not sufficient to keep providing services at current level unless we have a significant increase in monetary donations. We have already cut a number of staff positions this month, and have decreased the hours of operation in our Hurricane food bank. Donations typically drop in the summer, but this year has been especially low. We can't wait for the holiday season donations.

We will be including a small "stocking" in all September InfoWest bills. We are asking customers to send it back in with their name and a donation that will be given to the Care and Share in their area, in their name.  Customers can also optionally add an additional amount to their online credit card payment at https://www.infowest.com/Account/bill-pay/ to be donated to this campaign.

If you don't get a paper bill from InfoWest, you can now download and print your own stocking to return it with your payment and donation.  You can download your Santa in September "stocking" donation slip today at http://www.infowest.com/Santa-in-September and mail or drop your donation by our offices.

You will also be able to choose who will receive your donation - the Dixie Care and Share or the Iron County Care and Share. If we all just give a little, we will make a big difference for many in need!

Will you please join us and make a donation to the Care and Share? Together we can make a big difference with Santa in September!

Sincerely,

Randy Cosby
Vice President
